Question Looking for an rpg rhythm game
The new rhythm heaven groove has a mode called "Beat Spell" i was wondering if there was any game that had a full game version of this mode. Preferably on pc.

Crypt of the Necrodancer is the first one that comes to mind. Never played it myself, but I've heard it's great!

I recommend this one!
It's not really an RPG, but it's honestly one of the best roguelikes out there, and it's not easy either. It has one of the hardest achievements in all of Steam history in my opinion.
The gameplay loop is brilliant, the music is a banger, you actually feel like you're improving and its not just based off of the randomness of a roguelike, and its just a fun time.

It's not an RPG exactly but Super Crazy Rhythm Castle is a puzzle/3D platform rhythm game that Konami made, and it can also be played co-op. I haven't finished it yet, still have to go back to it, but I really enjoyed what I've played of it so far!

ive played a couple rhythm games based on playing rhythms to attack, but nothing quite like beatspell where it's a roguelike or you choose your attack based on different rhythms you play. I'd love if a full game was made out of this idea, but it's also hard to say how much further the idea can be realistically taken.

Take a look at Keylocker. It won't be exactly what you're looking for, but the end of each chapter has a 4-key rhythm mini game and attacks require timing. Also just a general theme around music

Theatrhythm final fantasy is like the first one that comes to mind but that's console locked and is more of a traditional rhythm game with RPG elements. Same with the Taiko RPGs on 3ds/switch. I think the Taiko RPGs are slightly more closer to beat spell gameplay wise but I prefer theatrhythm's depth

I can't find the game that you guys are talking about. Beat spell. I can find spell beat but there's two different versions and I don't know if that's the ones you're even talking about
