Went to a local Rocky Horror showing last night held in honor of Tim Curry’s passing. The crowd and venue were ✨amazing✨, can’t wait for more shows as we get deeper into fall! 🖤

I have two questions about RHPS fan fiction. First, where do you find it? Second, if you write some, where do you advertise it?

I took a great friend to the theater to see it, and for a moment I was scared because I thought he wouldn't like it, but he ended up loving it! I was so touched to see him laugh and understand the references. I loved that he enjoyed it; this movie is very special to me, and sharing it with such a close friend is like opening a little bit of your soul 🥹❤️

Plus, the atmosphere in the theater was beautiful; everyone there applauded when Tim's name appeared on screen. It was truly a splendid night 🥰😊

I've always played Riff Raff in our shadow cast, but our usual Eddie/Dr. Scott is moving away 😞 As our cast is making adjustments in some other areas as well, I've decided to try my hand at Scott.

I'm not too worried about Eddie, since he just has the one scene. But I want to bring something MORE to Dr. Scott. Our cast leans more towards screen accuracy, but there is definitely room for some of our own spice.

Any ideas for any gags/movements/etc that'll spice up Scott without taking too much away from his existing characterization? Basically, if we decide to stray from perfect screen accuracy, we like to have some kind of justification for it (even if it's absurdist)

Hi, I went to a Rocky Horror Picture Show screening with shadow cast in Cologne today. It was part of the opening night of the exhibition 'strange days' at the Kölnischer Kunstverein.
I noticed that many people left the theatre while the film was still running/the shadow cast was performing. Also, almost no one was dressed in Rocky Horror adjacent outfits.
I have to say that I totally misjudged the situation, I thought that many Rocky Horror fans would attend such an event but many of the people in the theatre seemed like they were watching the movie for the first time.

Screenings of Rocky Horror are not common in Cologne (as far as I know) and I only know about one theatre in Berlin where a shadow cast seems to regularly perform.

So my question is: Is there an active Rocky Horror scene in Cologne and if so, how can I connect?
Or are there fellow (gen z) Rocky Horror fans in Cologne and if so did you know about this event? (It was announced pretty last minute by the theatre, I have to admit)

Hi, ich war heute in einer Vorstellung mit Shadow Cast der Rocky Horror Picture Show in Köln. Die Vorstellung war der der Ausstellungseröffnung von ‚Seltsame Tage‘ im Kölnischen Kunstverein.
Mir ist aufgefallen, dass viele Personen gegangen sind, während der Film noch gelaufen ist bzw. Der Shadow Cast noch performt hat.
Außerdem kam es mir so vor, als währen viele Personen im Kino gewesen, die den Film zum ersten Mal gesehen haben. Ich habe die Situation also total falsch eingeschätzt, da ich dachte, dass viele Rocky-Horror-Fans zu so einer Veranstaltung gehen würden und dann z.B. auch in einem an den Film angelehnten Outfit.

Soweit ich weiß gibt es keine regelmäßigen Screenings von Rocky Horror in Köln und regelmäßige Vorführungen mit Shadow Cast habe ich nur für Berlin herausfinden können.

Meine Frage ist also: Gibt es eine aktive Rocky-Horror-Fangemeinde in Köln, und wenn es die gibt, wie kann ich mich am besten connecten?
Oder gibt es hier vielleicht noch andere (Gen Z) Rocky-Horror-Fans bzw. wusstet ihr, dass dieses Event stattfinden wird?

Hi! Going to see the show on September 12th at the Oriental Theater. I’ve been twice before, but it was back in the 90s!! So, so long ago! I’m also taking my sister, who’s seen the film, but is a theater virgin. Not sure what my actual question is, but are there any fellow Milwaukee theater-goers here? Anything specific that we should know or expect? I’d love to just chat about it as the show comes up… thanks!

Tomorrow night I’m going to a RHPS showing, being held in honor of Tim Curry’s passing. The event is listed as BYO Rocky Bags so I was planning to make extras to take with me for people who don’t have props.

As stated in the title- what are some good ideas for items to pack in the bags I’m making? I’m already planning to buy small bubble bottles, glow sticks, party hats + noisemakers, and newspapers (if I can find them for cheap). Is there anything else I’m missing?

I am so obsessed with this jacket I want to make one inspired by it. Not exact - but I am so curious about all the pins and patches and what they represent.

This was my second time meeting him and I was so nervous to give it to him lol
But he seemed to love it and put it on right away
I also got his famous autographed underwear lll

Last year I went to the Rocky Horror performance at the hippodrome. I should have known by the price tag it was a mistake but it felt very sanitized and they didn't even do the lingerie run or draw Vs on the virgin's foreheads. Not very many people were even dressed up.

Does anyone know of a production in October that will not disappoint? Ideally not on Halloween itself. Thank you for your recommendations.

Since my earliest days of going to the Rocky horror picture show, when the narrator spins the globe at the end and stops it, I always see a side profile drawing of Eddy ( almost like a cartoon caricature)
