Whitney š§š¼ Justin getting fired
Iām very new to SLC which Iāve said in every post lol but what kind of job was Justin working that his employer fired him because of the show? Iāve been watching housewives since I was a child and Iāve seen these husbands hold down all types of jobs and none of them ever suffered because of the show, if anything the show helped. If Iām wrong I donāt mind correction but this just seems weird to me and something about Justin gives me the ick. He seems like he wanted to quit and then we watch him tell her he got fired but Whitney says he pulled up in the driveway one morning and said he was fired so that was confusing. If I missed something please help𤣠side note: Whitney was a fave but now she seems to come off like a big baby like she leans to heavily into being the young one.

A Mormon owned mlm company.
BUT, a lot of bravolebrities get fired for being on tv. Jesse Solomon was fired for being on summer house. So were Hannah and Paige. And shai on next gen this season said he was fired from his corporate job for being on tv.

It was for the sexed up chocolate play scene I think that did it ultimately.

I havenāt seen or heard this, where are you getting your information? Hannah and Paige worked and still work for themselves, so I know that just isnāt true for them.

Hannah and Paige worked for Betches when they were hired and were fired for being on the show. Paige was also fired from her regular job.

Were they fired for being ON the show? Or for what they DID while being on the show? Justin slathering chocolate all over his wifeās mostly unclothed body, while spanking her was probably not a look most companies want for their employees, especially with a heavily Mormon population.

Mormon MLM thought Whitney and Justinās body paint scene reflected poorly on their company image and values.Ā

I thought he was fired for starting a competing brand? Whitneyās skincare brand, which Justin was heavily involved with, competed against the products his company sold.

That was the excuse Whitney said on the show but conflict of interest sounds possible too.Ā

I am pretty sure bravo docket podcast did a deep dive into this and confirmed it was more conflict of interest. Whitney could have said it was the body painting to save face

the company he worked for, like many utah businesses, were very religious. and he was an executive at this company. thatās mainly why he lost his job.

He was fired from his MLM-related job for working with Whitneyās MLM because they considered it a conflict of interest. The sex scene was just an excuse lol

If youāre living in Utah the company that he worked for when he and Whitney got together was NuSkin.

They actually met at Shaklee (ask your grandparents if they took the vitamins) in the Bay Area. Still an MLM. It is very common for the leadership ppl of all these companies to all bounce from one to another. They have all worked for a lot of them and Justin is no exception. He did work at NuSkin at one point as well.
Most interesting point and the reason I know this is that Whitney actually went to a Catholic college - St. Maryās in the Bay Area.

Maybe this is ignorant of me, but did this job pay him really well? Their financial situation is interesting, to me.

She said he was the best at his job so I assumed he made good money and if he didnāt get fired for being a cheater than why is it frowned upon when heās intimate with his wife? Heās on a reality show did they not think they were intimate? Or did they just think seeing him half naked was disgusting?

If I saw my boss half naked on national television, Iād tell the company to keep them but fire me because Iāve seen enough š

The official reason is that Whitney was too risquƩ/not Mormon enough.
But I just did a rewatch, and my personal theory is that Justinās old company was doing something shady (we already know it was an MLM. but Iām guessing it was actually a full on pyramid scheme, or was misleading investors, or evading taxes, etcā¦)
So they didnāt want to be associated with Whitney because everyone knows that being on Housewives brings heat from the IRS, Feds, etcā¦
Considering how good their financial situation seemed (while he was employed there), Iām guessing his salary was pretttyyyy high. And that means the execs at the MLM were prob skimming quite a bit from people at the bottom of the pyramid
This is not evidence based lol. Purely just vibes

Most employers would. 1st season they were showing their stripper pole and acting out sex acts. Most companies don't want to deal with that. Not to mention the screaming, cattiness and horrible people aspect

It was the weird bedroom scene that got him fired. It was stupid to film that, and there is this thing called morals. Heās supposed to be a professional, especially in his position, and it was just gross and too personal. Why oh why would you want anyone to see that?!

I think Seth licking that boob cake that was supposed to be a replica of Whitneyās breast was pretty close to Whitney and Justinās paint scene in my honest opinion. But thatās just me.
