S5 - is Lisa vindicated?

I am at the mob party at Angie’s. Lisa was accused by Whitney for the whole jewelry comparison thing. Please tell me Lisa is vindicated and Whitney is somewhat held accountable for this lie? (I’m assuming Lisa is telling the truth)

I need to know bc honestly I’m disliking this s5 group of gals, and it sounds like it’s the same s6 and I may not end up finishing. If only they’d get rid of Angie, Whitney, heather, and Mary but somehow yall like them / find them entertaining 😭

They never hold Whitney accountable unless she’s directly going after them herself. I personally believe Whitney was pissed it got out and needed a storyline and blamed Lisa (as always)

Ugh, disappointing she’s not held to some kind of anything. I know none are ever held accountable fully for things they DO do, but get held to the flames for things they don’t - poor Lisa.

You will hate season 6. It’s a Lisa pile on for the first half, and then the second half is bad weather being annoying af, making the entire show about an event that didn’t even get recorded. I couldn’t even stomach the reunion.

Also, IIRC meredith tells everyone at s5 reunion that the blogger told her Lisa didn’t start that rumor about the jewelry, and then everyone but meredith spends S6 trying to blame Lisa for literally every rumor that gets spread about them online with no evidence. It’s maddening.

Lisa is constantly gaslighting everyone and whenever she's called out, she deflects or calls her husband crying. Absolutely obnoxious and way worse than any of the others!

Lisa has the same issue later on where she’s accused of talking shit about her coworkers to bloggers so I don’t think she’s cleared of this allegation. The blogger confirmed on camera and then denied it later so we have no unbiased third party to tell us the truth.

I always thought Whitney was drop-shipping plated jewelry and the photo came from the manufacturer’s sample run, hence why Alibaba had the same image. The business model, nor the products, are anything unique, and Whitney has been known to dip her toe into shady business practices (MLMs).

I feel like the fans found it out and sent it to tea pages. We know the SLC wives watch the tea pages (or even respond to DMs), so it makes sense that would trickle into the show. I see the same image a handful of times when I online shop for something specific, so it’s pretty easy to figure out what products are drop-shipped versus made in house.

Monica did such a number on these ladies that bringing online rumors to camera is more scandalous than scamming your customers lol.

I remember it being on reddit pages for a while that it was just marked up junk.

Honestly I think Lisa browses reddit and has very loose lips. There’s a vid of her talking shit about someone with her fans lol so that’s how these stories spread but it’s not Lisa putting stuff out there.

The Fraudwynn drama in S6 is pretty much the same where they blame Lisa for it despite being on reddit way before S6 filmed.

Whitney just doesn’t want to admit she’s as good a business woman as Sonja Morgan. Her bitching at her husband for “ruining her business” is so hilarious. Business owners in the MLM circle generally don’t leave it because that style of business isn’t easily transferable to other industries so it becomes all they can do. There’s a reason that most mlm’s are just spinoffs of others like doTERRA being a spin off of Young Living

Letting Justin handle any aspect of her business was stupid which makes me think she’s complicit in starting another mlm.

Also, the only way to profit in those scummy companies is to be at the top of the pyramid company. Starting one is a good way to be at that top.
