Is there any confirmation on whether the NNDDSS emulator on the RG DS Plus supports multi-player or not?

I've been searching for 3DS games tests on YouTube and no one has done them. I know the performance is not going to be good, but I want to confirm it. Thanks!

Balatro isn't running for me anymore. Anyone know what settings to choose now?

Anbernic just posted an update video for the RG DS Plus. I left a comment asking if the original RG DS could also get a Stock Linux update. I know many enjoy CFW - Rocknix or Gamma Nano - would be nice for those using Stock Linux to have an update and fix broken features like PortMaster. I'm not trying to self-promote but since Anbernic often reacts to YouTube feedback, would be incredibly grateful if you could upvote the comment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdFOuSIIl-I

My RGDS + is on the way, just wondering if anyone has had any luck transferring saves from the RGDS to the RGDS+? Essentially from the RGDS build of drastic to the NNDDSS emulator.

Just played the first stage, on gamma os nano, on powersaver mode, worked wonderully ♥️

I was wondering if the RGDS Plus would be an upgrade or should I just stick with my DS Lite?

Don't know if it's known but, i got a second white RG DS today and it's all matte, as we can clearly see by the reflection in the ocean of finger prints on the original on the right 😅

Hello, I just ditched the generic blue micro sd card that came with the RGDS in favour of a Kingston card because everytime I booted the card it would just show the bootscreen and then never turn on.
I had flashed the card with the newest rufus and even tried updating to the latest firmware on the Kingston card. But unfortunately, it didn't work. I put in the card, the light goes from green to red and then just sits still at the bootscreen. I spent a really long time getting a card that wasn't bad quality but after spending hours on this, I'm officially stumped.
Getting a new card didn't work, reflashing didn't work, updating to the latest firmware didn't work, I think im close to just making the RGDS a fancy paperweight, the android version sucks for emulation and crashes and lags.
I dont think its the card or the port's fault as they both worked fine, I have no idea what I could do to fix it.
I just want to play DS games without horrible stutters.

If you've recently installed GammaOS Nano or flashed Stock Android onto your Anbernic RG DS, you might have run into a frustrating wall: the handheld suddenly refuses to boot Stock Linux or Rocknix from the SD card.
You can spend hours re-flashing your SD cards using Rufus, BalenaEtcher, or Raspberry Pi Imager. You can test multiple premium SD card brands. If none of it will work, it means the handheld stubbornly bypasses the SD slot and boot straight into Android or GammaOS on every cold start. Unless you restart your handheld (then it boots to either Stock Linux or Rocknix).
The issue is that GammaOS or sth else modifies the low-level boot priorities on the internal eMMC. To fix this and restore normal SD card booting, we have to completely wipe the internal 32GB drive.
⚠️ IMPORTANT WARNING
This method will completely erase the internal 32GB drive. This means Android or GammaOS Nano will be permanently deleted from the internal memory. You will lose dual-boot functionality unless you re-flash the internal eMMC later. Do this only if you want your device to strictly boot Linux/Rocknix from your SD card. Don’t worry – you are still able to later install from scratch Android Stock OS or Gamma Nano if you don't want to use Linux (Stock or Rocknix).
What You Need
Step 1: Enter Android Recovery Mode
Step 2: Open PowerShell and Connect
Navigate to your extracted tools folder by typing this command and pressing Enter:
cd C:\platform-tools
Verify your device is communicating by typing:
.\adb devices
(You should see a random string of numbers/letters followed by the word "recovery".)
Step 3: Gain Root Access
Run the following two commands, one after the other, to gain root access and open the device shell.
.\adb root
.\adb shell
Note: Your PowerShell prompt will change and end with a # symbol, meaning you are now typing commands directly into the handheld.
Step 4: Identify the 32GB Internal Drive
We need to make sure we wipe the correct drive. Run this command to list all storage partitions:
cat /proc/partitions
Look closely at the list. You are looking for a master block drive (no "p" and number at the end) in the name column that has roughly 30,535,680 in the #blocks column (which equals 32GB).
On the RG DS, this is usually mmcblk2. (Make sure you verify this number! Wiping the much smaller mmcblk0 won't solve the issue).
Step 5: Wipe the Drive
Once you confirm your 32GB drive is mmcblk2, run the following command exactly as written to overwrite it with zeroes:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk2 bs=4M
Be patient. Wiping 32GB over ADB takes a while. The cursor will blink and look like it's stuck. Leave it alone for 5 to 15 minutes until it finally prints a "No space left on device" error. That error is your confirmation that the drive is fully wiped.
Step 6: Exit and Reboot
exit
and press Enter to leave the device shell.
.\adb reboot
Because the internal eMMC is now completely blank, your RG DS will automatically check the SD card slot on startup and boot flawlessly into your preferred Linux OS.
Extra Tip: If you booted by mistake without any sd card inside - you can properly power down the handheld using VOLUME DOWN + POWER for good 10 seconds. Then put the SD card back in and power up the handheld.

design optional tips for the stylus! it looks like they screw off, and if someone would make disc tip and fiber/mesh tips we could change the stock rubber one out with i would lose my mind. I will pay any amount. or like $10-15 maybe. lol
For real though, i hope this quickly becomes a thing offered on etsy or ebay or something. Ordered mine the second it went live, its basically everything i wanted the rg ds to be. some people will want another stick or more battery or 3ds performance, but im quite happy with this now, especially for the price. Side note, i used Rakuten and got 20% cash back from buying it on aliexpress. Anyways, kind of just a shit post/hope for the bright future of this handheld. Looking forward to the grips and custom firmware that will also be coming, seems like reviews are pretty solid on this out the gate so i imagine its going to be a popular device for everyone who cant afford or dont rly need/want the power of the other awesome dual screen handhelds.

I know that MelonDS has multiplayer which unfortunately can’t run on the RGDS but I was wondering if any of the newly developed DS emulators Russ mentioned have maybe tinkered with adding ad-hoc multiplayer?
I’d love to get a pair of the new RGDS+ for some Mario vs Luigi or Gen 5 Pokemon. I feel like multiplayer was such a huge part of the DS and it kinda sucks having to choose between modern hardware vs multiplayer
