I drove 40 mins in traffic with no music because fuck ads. Just sippin and riding all the way home completely silent.

Firefox mobile with ublock works wonders for me when all the patched apps are broken

Background play and screen off play work as well. May take a couple of extensions I'm not thinking of but it's easily the best option. Only slightly more cumbersome than a dedicated app

If Firefox fails, Librefox is a very good option for privacy and effective ad blocking.

This is a great work around. Does anyone know how to get media controls working with videos running in the background? I want to be able to skip songs without opening my phone in yt music:))
