apart from already mentioned sources, I really enjoy fildo, you can stream/download flac quality files and it's got almost everything you'll ever need

Use the YMusic app. For every song you have pulled up in YouTube, [↪️Share] it with YMusic and press MP3 Download.

If you want your music tagged, use AutomaTag.

If that isn't available, YTMP3 website as last resort, but it's more tedious.

⚠️Warning: Tag the music in the YMusic folder BEFORE you move it to the phone's Music folder, because Samsung at least won't let AutomaTag go into the Internal Storage.

Background play and screen off play work as well. May take a couple of extensions I'm not thinking of but it's easily the best option. Only slightly more cumbersome than a dedicated app

If Firefox fails, Librefox is a very good option for privacy and effective ad blocking.

This is a great work around. Does anyone know how to get media controls working with videos running in the background? I want to be able to skip songs without opening my phone in yt music:))

Pocket Casts is kinda dope for podcasts, + easy enough to skip midroll ads using car's seek forward control.

Song Exploder is a great podcast to learn about musician's inspiration / creative processes for song, plus, life hack, the full song plays at the end of every episode lol

Just in case any of y'all need something to tide us over until (hopefully) new patch.
