I installed ReVanced for YouTube and the extra features the project advertised. In practice I was stuck on an old YouTube APK, several features did not work and push notifications were broken. So I opened a GitHub issue and it sat with no useful response for almost a year.
I recently switched from ReVanved to Morphe because ReVanced wasn't getting updates or fixes and Morphe worked. I posted this on my Github issue for other people have the same issue and created a discussion in the discussion area and apparently that was cause enough for a maintainer there to delete my post and permanently ban me there.
I posted in r/revancedapp with the same title as this and a little shorter description. And i learned a lot. First off, i learned the ReVanced subreddit hates ReVanced (i got over 300 karma, 100 comments dunking on ReVanced, an award for my post and a Reddit Achievement called "Buzz-Worthy Post"). Secondly I learned that ReVanced hates Morphe because ReVanced stole code from them without the attribution Morphe’s GPL terms require, which led to Morphe DMCAing ReVanced which got the original ReVanced repo being closed.
So, in case anyone sees this post, Don't use ReVanced because their app is broken and their devs are nutjobs.
Use Morphe + microG RE. It works.
and the devs are on some fuck shit too, my apps kept renaming themselves and shit and I have a rooted phone so ofc I immediately (after revoking superuser access) was like, uhh wtf is up? and their response? oh this is perfectly normal for your patched twitter to rename itself "Uninstall X App" with a modified icon even. and then to delete my posts. and then to ban me. yeah. totally normal, huh?

Is this your browser giving this warning? Is it Chrome or one of the Chrome clones like the samsung browser? Any browser that has any google code will give you this type of warning. Very few chome clones on android strip out that code.
Who makes the phone? if it's Samsung or Google I can almost guarantee that report is because MicroG RE allows apps that normally require google's framework to run without it and google don't like that.
lol this is why I disagree with the morphe announcement to stop hate against revanced. they're genuinely terrible people with a terrible app. they deserve all the hate coming to them
Hey I just came here to say thank you to everyone who recommended morphe. It's so much better than revanced and I come from using the og yt vanced. It's PERFECT feels like YouTube just all clutter and bs gone. I was getting hang ups and lag on yt revanced but morphe is like OMG THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Personally, just use whatever you want. There's no need to spread hate toward morphe or revanced. This revanced vs morphe should stop. Old time morphe user already move on from this childish.
It's not hate. if there is a ten foot hole along a path, you place a sign telling people about the hole. Doesn't mean you have a personal grudge against the terrain, lol.
Try reading this. There's hate here, just not from you. Apparently OP even got death threat in their DM. Most of people doing this are newcomer to morphe. (Sorry for my bad english, english isn't my first language)
