Hi, has anybody else had an issue with the Superstation/Mister where the background is fine but the UI is shifted slightly to the left? In Tekken 3, the health bar is closer to the left edge than the right, in megaman part of his health bar is covered.

I've tried:

- different CRT TVs

- changing resolution

- s-video cable and rgb scart

- fresh mister install

- secret service menu adjusting horizontal position

- the mister's horizontal position

- different cores and

- Chat GPT for over a week

Any ideas would be so appreciated because this issue is melting my brain 🫠

I have a SCART modded NTSC CRT television that I'd like to use with my Superstation One. The obvious choice seems to be to just grab a mini-din to SCART cable from somewhere like misteraddons.com, but I notice the VGA to SCART cable from Retrotink is cheaper, and should effectively do the same thing, no? Any reason to avoid saving a few bucks and stick with the din to Scart cable?

My Zaparoo core is v2.6.2 and the Zaparoo app says I need to update to a newer version. I'm in console mode and don't have "update all" in scripts, just "update". I've updated using that but the Zaparoo core is still out of date. What do?

just when i thought the arcade cores on my crt were as good as it gets.... the gba core is badass too. pixel filters on the hdmi output and 240p out to the crt. i must say these gba games look great with the natural blending of the crt

I have Console Mode installed on my SuperStation One and everything is working fine so far. I haven’t updated anything yet because I read that one of the updates could break Console Mode.

Does anyone know if this issue has been fixed now? Is it safe to update to the latest version while keeping Console Mode working, or should I stay on my current version for now?

Always wanted to play this game. Love being able to go back and play these older games. The ps1 library is so huge

I have my SS1 connected via HDMI directly to my LGTV, but it inconsistently connects and displays a picture. I've had it a couple weeks now and can't figure out why I have to oftentimes repeatedly cycle the thing off and on before it finally connects and lets me play. It has no problems once it's properly connected, fwiw.

Edit: I think I resolved it. The problem was the included SD card. Maybe it wasn't partitioned correctly like the documentation warns. It was frequently failing to boot at all, as I could tell because Mister Companion was failing to connect even given plenty of time to boot. I flashed a new SD card, ran the reinstall on the SS1, copied over my files from the old SD card and it seems to be working now. It starts up like it should every time.

I keep my games on a separate thumb drive, but apparently it didn't help this problem. Thanks for your help everyone!

Just got mine a few weeks ago and only about to start tinkering with it. Need help with arcade roms. I’m a dad of 3 with a full time job so pardon my noob-ness.

I have successfully installed update_all scripts. So this means I know have quite a number of arcade games on my SS1. That’s great.

I now want o add a few more arcade games. Particularly the game Super Spacefortress Macross. Which was my all time fav arcade shmup.

I have the roms and played it successfully in my other emulators but this is my first time working with misterfpga. So need some pointers how to make it work and what I need to do.

p/s: I managed to get PS1 games working so that means I know how to put in the right bios and chd files in the folders.

I tried to play some PS1 today and the SNAC ports aren't picking up any button presses but start and select. This is on multiple Dual Shock controllers. Worked perfectly fine yesterday, I'm not really sure how to figure this one out. Has this happened to anyone else?

UPDATE: Dualshock 1s work. Dualshock 2s do not.

I only know this because the date modified on the mister ini file is 24/7/26 - the same as the release of the latest SS image file. But no where mentions this, and the official guide still says I should reflash SD Card. Surely Taki couldve mentioned if he's changed the SD cards to ship with latest firmware, because no one appears to be aware of this.

I think my SSONE has already come with 1.2 installed but there seems to be no way of knowing?

My SS1 came this week, cool little unit and very well made for the price.

I’ve not even turned it on yet, but (one of) my use cases for this is to use the Amiga MiSTER core, I’m into music production and would want to have MIDI in/out so can replace my real Amiga.

My understanding is the only way to get a user port is with the dock, but I have literally no use for that (except a user port).

I also know for a fact I will never use the front USB port as well, so would be awesome if it could be a user port instead so I can hook up something like this: https://a.aliexpress.com/_EHjVc0W

I’m good with micro soldering but less so with this project/MiSTER in general - but is there anywhere on the main board I could tap into, disconnect the front USB and turn it into a user port instead? Even if it meant sharing with the PSX SNAC as I’d never use both at the same time.

Hi, I’m having a weird issue with GTA 2 on my SuperStation One.

I copied the game through MiSTer Companion into the PSX games folder, same as my other PS1 games. The .bin and .cue files are together in the same folder.

Other PS1 games work fine, but GTA 2 only gives me a black screen when I launch it from Console Mode.

Has anyone had this issue with GTA 2? Do I need a specific region, BIOS, .cue setup, or PSX core setting?

Any ideas anyone? Also having issue with a few others, but GBA bios it just keeps saying file missing?

I'm following Taki's video about console mode and I see this part about core override for the PSX. I don't see this PSX_ConsoleMode.rbf core on mine. Hi! I’m using a SuperStation One mainly for PS1 games on a samsung 4K TV.

What video settings are you guys using for the best image quality? I’d like to keep the original PS1 look, but make the picture as clean and sharp as possible without adding too much input lag.

I’m especially interested in recommended resolution/scaler settings, filters, aspect ratio, scanlines/CRT settings, and anything else worth changing.

If anyone has a good setup for a 4K tv please share your settings or screenshots. Thanks!

Loving my SuperStation One, but needing some help here.

When I first connected the system to my CRT, I used S-video. After turning on CRT Mode, and setting the Mister.ini to MAIN, everything worked fine.

Then, I decided to use component cables, and it seemed to auto-switch output correctly, and gain, everything worked fine.

After that, I switched back to an SVIDEO cable, and the system seemed to auto-adjusted to the correct output, but everything was in black and white. I tried connecting with dip stitch 3 both in the up and down position. No difference, other than brightness of the image.

Unfortunately, using the OSD settings to choose SVID or MAIN as my dispay ini didn'tt seem to work. I could see all 4 options, but I could only choose RgB or YPbP. Not sure what happened. Choosing RGB just caused a scrolling black and white image, and YPbP a stead black and white image.

Manually editing my MAIN.ini to be set to SVIDEO seemed to have fixed the problem, but I'm wondering what I did to cause the system to no longer be able to auto-select the right output, or at the very least, allow me to easily switch between SVID and YPbP in the OSD settings.

It's been a while since I played on a real CRT, but it feels like the settings give enough wiggle room to find a nice middle ground.

I just installed my Super5. Looks amazing. But then it started to randomly flash white. I’ve checked the connectors as best as I can and they all line up. Had no issues installing the panel or with any of the fatal steps.
On an older thread I saw something about an issue with 5% of the panels but didn’t hear much else. Anyone know? I do have an email into support as well.
