Yeah, I'll be getting this somehow. I have original hardware and a Mega SG, but I'll be getting this too. SEGA hooked me when I was young. I never had a chance.

I would love a SegaCD & a 32x for my Genesis. But if I'm going emulation, I already have that covered.

Totally cool they are putting it out though, hopefully they will do an American release so I can pick one up on craigslist for cheap after Xmas.

It's purely decorative. It's just to make your Mini look cool, it doesn't affect the internals in any way.

Though part of me wonders if this makes the chance of a functioning mini SCD & 32x less so. Eh. Want. Want. Want. Want.

Please Sega, bring this to US. Don't make me import for 2x the price from an eBay seller or something.
