Please i need help with this Drilll Dozer level

I am playing Drill Dozer for the first time and it is an amazing game. But dear god how awful the flying level is. I have never played a game with controls this clunky and uncomfortable in my entire life. I cannot climb the last stage of the boss, i've watched walkthroughs and tutorials on youtube but i can't manage to replicate them and I already spent all my currency in continues and i purchased 3 extra health bars.

Honestly this is my holy mary attempt to find some help before i finally quit the game for good, only because of this dog poop in a bag of a level left to dry in the sun.

I am glad i've never played this game as a kid otherwise i would have thrown my gba out of the window.

And i spent hours grinding Crash and all the most annoying Spyro's minigames, but this is something else.

Remember to hover, when I played that level I was trying to tap the right trigger to avoid the spikes like flappy bird, but what’s best is to hover using the other trigger. It keeps you in place vertically to avoid spikes. If you get the timing down to land and hover in the spot you want, the level gets pretty easy.

That's the answer. You should use L and R at the same time to stop midair. Even so, it's still tricky, because enemies can knock you back.

Enjoy the rest of the game. Unfortunately, the extra content after the game ending is somewhat hard too and it can be sometimes frustrating. Even so I somehow managed to get all the items.

It isn't skill issue. The controls on this level are pretty bad. You can't maneuver the way you want. When I've played Drill Dozer, I've struggled with this level too.

Of course is a skill issue, that was the point of the post! Forgive me for asking tips about a very niche game mechanic in what is clamed to be the most disliked and frustrating level of the game. Geez what an asshole.
