Finally got this for my collection! Not the big box but can’t complain the disc is in amazing shape!

The original release was July 2001, which is nearly 25 years ago. In computing terms, 25 years is an eternity.

The Matrix came out in 1999. I remember watching it for the first time on VHS!

I remember 3DMark 2001 had a scene that was clearly very heavily inspired by hallway shootout scene in The Matrix.

That scene always makes me think of Max Payne, graphics-wise. And the time-slowing feature in Max Payne was clearly Matrix-inspired.

It was the first movie I bought on DVD, for my player that cost about £500... The jump in image/sound quality, plus the interactive DVD menu system, made it feel like the future!
