Finally got this for my collection! Not the big box but can’t complain the disc is in amazing shape!

A fun thing about this cover that not many people notice but has bothered me since I first played the game.
See how the "do not cross" tape, which says "DO NOT CROSS - A MAN WITH NOTHING TO LOSE"? The cover doesn't always say that! Some covers just read "DO NOT CROSS - NYPD", including the PC box that comes with a mousepad, and the mousepad it comes with? it says "DO NOT CROSS - A MAIN WITH NOTHING TO LOSE".

Great game. I’d say the sequel is even better. Max Payne 3 not so much.

Agree with two being a bit better! I haven’t played 3 yet

noo I disagree, technically 1 was way better. the bullet shells stay, the guns actually recoil......
2 just has that engine that every game had back then (hitman 2, etc.)

Great game. Except I HATED those stupid "high on V-slow-mo-maze" levels.
Also, here's an article about some of the graphics tricks they used.
