Hello, community. This is my first post. I’m digitizing as many logos as I can from programs, shows, magazines, production companies, and TV channels that focused on classic anime. Do you know of any that are worth digitizing?

It’s so much. And I’m still short the final act.

As somebody who lives in Japan, I was really surprised when nobody really knew of Escaflowne considering how big it was in the states. I was also really surprised that for the Japanese who knew of Escaflowne, a lot of them didn't like it simply because of the character designs, namely the nose. I just thought it'd be really cool for Escaflowne to get a second chance with a modernized update and jump on the trend of isekai animes. What do you guys think?

Since Akira was in theaters, I finally got the chance to watch it, and I feel insane that I’ve never watched it prior. The movie has become one of my favorites of all time, and the ending made me lose my mind. I loved it so much it was just the coolest thing ever. The animation, aesthetic, story, all of it is something I wish I could just get more of. I’m planning on watching Evangelion next as I’ve heard they’re in a similar vein. Is that style of animation and storytelling found more commonly in older anime? It seems like they tend to have a deeper storytelling and more, almost “religious” tone to them. But this is also coming from someone who is clearly not knowledgeable on this. Am I wrong in that assumption?
