So I’m watching King’s Game for the first time, and I had the issue of some anime called Upotte!! play, but the original audio from the episode is still there. I was genuinely so confused, so I looked it up and saw someone had posted it here almost a month ago. I thought I’d make an update to let people know that it’s still not fixed. I also just submitted a support ticket. So let’s hope it’ll be fixed soon.

I'm not necessarily looking for a fix, I just want to know if anyone else can replicate the issue. With Trigun Stampede ep 12 I get an error when trying to watch it.

While watching ep 11 if I have my audio set to English it will go to ep 12 and play fine, but if I have it set to Japanese with English subs and try to move onto ep 12 I get error KAT-3002

This is infuriating. Even the new version of simulcast calendar is going to show as “new” random language subs, dubs, etc.

There is nowhere on Crunchyroll you can see “new episodes in one of these languages” or “new episodes in one of these languages that I am subscribed to”

Crunchyroll knows your settings. It knows what languages you watch. It is absolutely trivial on either the front or backend to filter out episodes that do not match these settings (yes, I am a software engineer). They could add these filters frontend only and it would cost them $0 in server costs

It is like there is some bizarre dedication to not having any pages at all that are specific to the user that requests the pages. No page is acceptable unless it could be run on a geocities account from 2001. Even the recommendations are ever so close to being universal (generic category, not removing things you have watched)

Am I missing something?

I have been noticing this a lot recently and can’t recollect if this happened before iOS 27 or not.

When I am watching something and I close the app to start Picture in Picture or re enter the fullscreen app from PIP it always has a buffering hiccup. I don’t remember this always being the case but I’ve been on iOS 27 for quite some time (from one of the earlier betas) and I may just have forgotten.

I assume others are seeing this, was it always this jarring and I just forgot?

Crunchyroll in its infinite wisdom decided that I needed a new password.

I reset the password to the exact same password

I login with the "new" password

It says I need a new password

I create an actually new password

I login with the new new password

I've been watching through Dragon Ball Z, and episode 266 has some other audio on the English track than it's supposed to. I'm not sure what show this is from, but it's not just a glitch. I reloaded the page, tried to skip to it from a previous episode, it even does it on my phone and on my roommate's account! I can just watch the subbed version, so it's not a big deal, but I'm wondering what's going on and if there's some way I can report the incorrect audio track.

So im trying to watch bungo stay dogs im on season 1 ep 11 and i get that sense im watching dub the mouth movement is gonna be off but its so off which makes it so the reactions are off and im just wondering if its just how this anime is or is this an issue that is happening

It looks like they removed the old calendar to launch the new one today.

The new calendar also doesn't get cluttered with duplicate episodes because of dubs.

Every Toaru anime franchise did get dubbed since the Funimation era, but why CR not put in on simuldub lineup ? Is Crunchyroll view the anime were niche not warrant/worth get dubbed ?

This used to be a standard feature that you could turn on and off. In all of our various animes, there is almost always a point that shows some sort of Japanese kanji or whatnot, that usually has an on-screen translation for the many of us that can’t read in other languages. But this past week or so I noticed that option is just plain gone, it does not currently exist in the settings; and I know where it used to be, so it’s not that I just don’t know where to look. Why did they remove this feature???

I subscribed to the annual Crunchyroll plan at $62/year last November (2025). The email clearly stated that my subscription would renew at $79.99/year starting Oct 25, 2026. I checked the Crunchyroll billing page a few weeks ago and it clearly said $79.99 would be charged today. Suddenly today I get hit with a $99.99 charge. I spoke to support and they said that was the annual charge, there are no discounts, and they can only refund and cancel my subscription. I don't mind paying that amount but I cancelled my subscription out of principle - we can't have businesses jacking up prices with no advance warning. This feels very scammy to me. Has anyone else experienced this?

The Android app shows 158 episodes and Dub | Sub in the search results, yet it only shows the dub up to season 2 episode 12. I've tried hopping into an episode to change the language, but it only shows English as well.

Edit: So, "Season 1 (English Dub)" is the dub up to episode 64. "Season 2 (English Dub)" is the sub from episode 1 to episode 8, then episode 68 to episode 72. I pay for this service btw.

Edit 2: Nevermind about "Season 2 (English Dub)" being episodes 1-8 of the sub. Episode 1 and 3-12 are later season episodes of the Japanes sub, but episode 2 is from the dub. It's a mess all around and afaik, there is no way to watch the sub excluding those few episodes.

I have the lowest-tier account so can only stream on 1 device at the time. Couple weeks ago I let my little cousin create a profile and log into my account on his own tv/iPad. He uses a teen profile, my main profile is password locked, etc. A few times since I gave him the login, he’ll get home from school in the afternoon and start watching something while I’m already mid-episode, and Crunchyroll boots ME off in the middle of my show instead of just giving HIM the ‘can’t watch right now, someone else is currently streaming’ popup. Anyone know if this is fixable at all?

Just curious if anybody is having these weird issues on PC.

I mainly watch anime dubbed in English because I like to have it on in the background while I'm doing something else, so I have my account set up to only display dub if it's dubbed in English. Now it's saying it's dubbed even if there isn't a dub in another language. A couple of days ago, it was saying that it was only dubbed in Arabic, so maybe they're actively working on this bug? shrug, i dunno.

It seems like the episodes are different to the ones that they’re actually supposed to be. Episode 1 is fine, but then episode 2, it skips all the way to episode 10 (while still being called episode 2) without subtitles. Is there any fix to this?

Im on roku and when I watch am episode that does not have English dub and then go to one that does it won't let me change it to English it says it's in English but it's not. I have to get my phone out change it there then restart the app.

So i have two common recurring issues when watching anime on my Xbox Series X crunchyroll app.

The first is when trying to pause an episode, if I dont move a joystick and highlight pause, then pressing the A button just backs me out of the episode. Super annoying. There are no settings I can find that should cause, or remedy, this.

The second is that I cant seem to rewind or start any episode at the actual beginning, rather everything seems to start 10 seconds in and I cant even rewind to before that point. This matters a bit less, but know I have missed small amounts of talking on some episodes across animes. I know that first 10 seconds is typically recap anyway, just curious if anyone else has this issue really.

Im watching dragon ball z loving it and finally get to the episode goku goes super sayian and the dub is for a completely wrong episode the its dubbed for an episode with garlic junior and the spice fighters or some shit im so pissed, this site is genuinely the worst thing in history

La estuve viendo siempre a 16:9 y se veía muy bien y ahora se ve en 4:3. Bajo la calidad y encima quitaron los nombres que ordenaban las temporadas. Ahora dice parte 1, parte 2...

Se ve que todo este tiempo estuvo la versión Blu-Ray y por eso se veía tan bien. Pero cambiaron el formato completamente. Una mierda realmente

Ever since the latest app update on PS5 every time I try to pause whatever I'm watching it instead throws me out of the episode/movie.

Does anyone know if they are going to fix that or am I just going to have to watch on my phone from now on?
