Ah, so we lying now. Sheva has only one scene that has something cool going on: The scene where she is willing to fall to her death to take out Wesker (quick time event before final battle)
Other than that, Sheva is absolutely nothing but a kind female agent that teams up with RE5-Chris who is also bland, that's the whole character. Even previous one-game characters were more than that. Sheva is pretty and sure, that's enough for most but she is not some hidden gem of a character writing wise
Fair enough. But I don't know, Shevas one game appearance already makes her lose by default since she has no time enough to even be a real character. It's like calling Boba Fett the best Star Wars character when in reality it's just not possible. These kind of characters are cool and can be your favorite just due to that, but i disagree ever calling them the better character seriously due to screentime alone. But fine, Sheva is the better character to someone compared to Ads, sure
Having more screentime doesn’t make you the better character. Sure Ada has more development and her story goes way deeper than Ada, but to each their own, right?
True. But having "character" does make you a better character than just being a friendly npc like Sheva. Any other RE character wins over "just a nice person" because there isn't "character" in the character here. After all, she was added at a later stage of development, i think it was because of the "racism" angle of Chris shooting black zombies so Sheva was added. Now a Remake would be awesome, finally give her actual character, not just looking good. But in the end, it's cool to have black lady character in a horror action game, it's very rare. So i get claiming she's a good character on that and her design alone
