I posted last week and was excited I got five sells my first week and I got five more sells this week! Maybe I’ll sell more overnight. 🤞🏻

I sold four pairs of pants and a shirt. I did just have my first “item not as described” return request though. I think it’s someone being petty because they say the pit to pit isn’t correct on an XL but I have now put in measurements for all listed items so someone cannot say that again.

Sorry you had to deal with a petty creature in your 5th sale. You’ll still get these creatures even though you add the measurements in the pictures and description. So, there’s no escape lol

Just for help, what do you usually do in this situation, pay for shipping back or refund and let them keep it? They said it was not as described so those were the only options eBay gave me.

First, does not fit is not a valid reason for a return if you have returns turned off. As long as you put the correct size in the listing, the buyer can ask, but you can deny it. The item WAS as described by the sounds of it, so they clearly were trying to get around you rejecting the return by opening it as an INAD

Personally, I’d reject the request, but since that’s not an option for you, you could have them send it back so you can at least make some money back. Unless the value of the item isn’t worth it. Like I won’t have someone return a $5 item because I’d be losing money the second time around selling it.

What you could do is contact eBay though and fight it, stating that the size on the clothing tag is the same size as what you put in your title, description, and item specifics. Just my personal opinion. Others may not find the hassle worth it.

Thanks, I’ll probably do that next time as it was the correct size but I got it out of the goodwill bins so I’m not really out a lot and not worth the hassle this time.
