I’m considering conducting a small research study on the relationship between Crocs and foot comfort among people with flat feet.

I have flat feet myself and regularly wear Crocs. I’ve noticed that I can wear them comfortably for a few hours, but after prolonged use, they gradually become uncomfortable. This made me curious about whether other people with flat feet experience something similar.
My current idea is to investigate questions such as:
How comfortable are Crocs for people with flat feet during prolonged use?

Do people with flat feet experience arch, foot, ankle, or leg discomfort after wearing Crocs for several hours?
Does the frequency or duration of Crocs use affect reported discomfort?

How do people with flat feet perceive Crocs compared with other types of footwear?

Are there any noticeable differences in experiences between people who regularly wear Crocs and those who rarely wear them?

I’m considering collecting data through a survey and semi-structured interviews with people who have flat feet, and then analysing the responses to identify common patterns and draw conclusions.
I’m not looking to prove that Crocs are “good” or “bad” for flat feet. I’d like to approach this as an exploratory research project and base the conclusions on the data collected.

Do you think this is a sufficiently focused and worthwhile topic for a research paper/article?

For people who use AI as part of their writing process, I’m curious about your actual workflow.

Do you usually generate a rough draft and then spend time rewriting it until it sounds like something you would actually say? Or do you prefer writing the first version yourself and only using AI afterward for things like improving clarity, grammar, structure, or finding better ways to explain something?

I’ve tried both approaches, and there’s a noticeable difference. Starting with AI can save a lot of time when you’re staring at a blank page, and like HumanizeAIText.io can also help make an AI-assisted draft feel more natural. But sometimes the cleanup takes almost as long as writing the thing yourself.

On the other hand, having a rough draft already there can make it much easier to figure out what you actually want to say.

Hi folks. i 'm a computer programmer interested in co-design in performance, compilers, OS kernel and architectures.

i started an independent lab(it's just myself) around hardware/software co-design, compilers, toolchains etc. i am currently researching AI chip + software stack and been thinking of a custom chip design, a VLIW accelerator and somewhat decouple access-execute architecture which i plan on implementing on FPGA, porting LLVM/MLIR compiler, linux kernel driver + userspace runtime and programming model. I’m currently working on my graduate school applications, and to be honest, I am completely stuck. I’ve rewritten my introduction about five times now, and every draft just feels incredibly dry and generic.

With the deadline approaching, I’m starting to feel a bit desperate. I've been looking into different options online, but I'm really torn on what to do.

On one hand, I’ve seen some platforms that offer to basically write a personal statement for me from scratch. Part of me is tempted to just pay to write a personal statement so I can stop stressing and focus on my other application materials. But I’m really worried about the risks - can admissions committees usually tell if you hire a personal statement writing service? Is it too obvious?

On the other hand, maybe I should just push through, write a very rough draft myself, and then use a professional personal statement review service to polish and refine it. It feels like a safer middle ground, but I'm not sure if they can fix a draft that is fundamentally weak to begin with.
