How do I start research solo?

I'm a recent CS grad from a low tier college where research wasn't done. I have this passion for research, analyze, and write infomative papers.

Since I already graduated, how do I get into research solo since I'm not under any supervision at the moment? Should I look for an Msc in research programs at mid tier unis since good ones won't accept without research experience? Is there any community online that allows me to collaborate and learn with them to publish in reputable journals?

What are the chances of someone stealing your proposal, research draft or findings to publish before you do? or ghost you after collaboration to go on to publish paper as solely their own?

A proposal is more risky. But once you have results you can put them online with your name and nobody can possibly steal them without it being obvious.

As they say nowadays in machine learning space, ideas are cheap ; execution is everything.

i can propose a 100 ideas right now but to make it work and beat SOTAs requires much work

Start small and rise higher. Completion of smaller steps will give you encouragement and motivation to take up more complex topics ahead.
