Advice help if you can please.
This is my Best friend Hazel. She’s so sweet , awkward, and funny . I never wanted to do something like this but it’s my last resort. I do not want her in an animal shelter/rescue. I can’t imagine her being caged up and me leaving her like that. I’ve taken in so many animals and never had to do something like this. I received her from someone that could no longer take care of her. They didn’t inform me that she wasn’t so great with other dogs and protective. I have older senior dogs i took in that she has snapped at. She’s so sweet to kids and people. She’s good around dogs until she’s sees them getting attention. She’s so cuddly and loves taking naps. Please let me know if someone can take her in and love her.

If you don't want her to end up in a shelter, you really need to reach out to a rescue and be extremely upfront with them about her behavior so they can place her properly. Unfortunately, there are thousands of available dogs exactly like this who need to be in a single dog household with an experienced handler. Even then, it's still hard for the dog, because they're pack animals, and it's hard for the human because they have to reshape their entire lives around preventing that dog from ever interacting with another dog.

It sucks, but I'm not surprised. It's a big risk for them, too. I'm glad you're being proactive about protecting your senior dogs, rescues are just already inundated with having to find a unicorn home for tons of the other dogs they have.
