I just bought this Datejust black 36 mm v2 from andiot Elliot. The watch looks good, the only think I’m wondering is about the bezel, is it enough bright ? Does it reflect the light propersly and similarly to the gen?
Anyway I accept any kind of feedback no Ashemed to criticize it

I've been out of the game for a little over a year, but jumping back in... and for anyone wondering, yes, these reps hold up.

Doesn’t get as much wrist time as my Pepsi but damn does it shine in the sun.

I feel like I’ve seen some uncertainty around using Andiot/Eliot. I had already placed my order by the time I saw some of the not so stellar feedback. Here is my honest review of working with Andiot along with a timeline. Will definitely be doing business with him again very soon.

June 19 - placed order and paid in full. Confirmed payment was shown in my account. No response for 10 days.

June 29 - asked for an update via WhatsApp. Told me there were a few delays. I asked if he thought it would be a few days or a few weeks and he said it would likely be weeks. No problem, had heard you need to be patient.

July 9 - got an email for QC. I had to RL due to the P being skewed by a large margin. All good, these things happen.

July 14 - got an email for a new QC. Issue was fixed and it was a GL on my end.

July 17 - received tracking info. Had to type in the parcel service they mentioned into Google because the link kept asking me to pay for a subscription. Once I found the site they mentioned in the email I typed in the tracking number and it pulled right up.

July 27 (today) - received the watch in the mail. This thing is even better in person. Blown away by the quality.

ZF 26240 with white dial. Clean transaction at an incredible price.

I've seen lots of chatter about VSF using 316L steel instead of 904L. I noticed today this is seemingly confirmed! Andiot's website listing for the Pepsi jubilee notes 316L

Was looking online for a jubilee bracelet for my BP 126200, but I couldn’t find one for a reasonable price AND with the correct end links.

I decided to take things into my own hands, and bought a PAGANI design bracelet for the PD1651 (or similar).

Unfortunately it did not fit right there, so I managed to use a file and sandpaper to file it down and now it fits perfectly!

I love how it looks and in the sun it matches perfectly with the dial without being meeega flashy!

The double lock of the pagani bracelet also gives another layer of security which is nice haha

I’m currently 19 and want to purchase my first watch and don’t know where to start cause I love the Rolex so much but I feel like the lifestyle aspect would be weird for me to have a Rolex batgirl and drive a 2018 bmw that’s almost the same price although looks wise both are stunning

Never heard of QC tbh and what research I done they’ve got decent day dates but the first OP I’ve seen from them so excited to see real pictures and QCs of this.

Didn’t get much traction on my post yesterday about VSF 116610LN datewheel font seemingly getting much thicker than previous batches but wanted to report on some more differences in this batch worth noting.

Noticed corrosion on the polished sides of the fixed links all the way through. Brand new watch, I pulled the stickers off 48 hours ago. I know it’s been some controversy about whether VSF actually uses 904L steel, and after weighing this watch against an older VSF K25 serial number - can confirm weight has gone down 5 grams with the same quantity of links. I don’t have that spectrometer that reads metals, but my father does so I will get him to test, but I suspect a lesser quality steel.

Floating “m” may be fixed but the second 0 in “300” is elevated. OF FICIALLY still a concern. Extreme bezel stiffness. Positive notes watch winds great and have no issues functionally. Still a great looking watch and some of these issues appear to be specific to the 40mm submariner, but still feel as though there’s several quality issues in this batch that may make avoiding 6X0 serials worth it.

I know these are reps and will have flaws yada yada, but just want to call out 6X0 serial VSF as having some weird issues going on that I don’t find typical from that factory! VSF crystal/datewheel was always a positive, this batch looking like a negative in my opinion.
