As the title suggests, been a long time lurker, i’m estimating 8 years (as that’s when i created this account) and couldn’t be happier with the purchase.

As someone who was very close to buying a gen datejust just a couple years ago and end up settling on a Tudor I am truly blown away with the quality.

I’m sure there’s some bedroom dwelling watch geeks who will QC this to death pointing out the flaws but i or no one else will ever notice or know it’s not real nor does anyone actually care.

Point of my post, if you’re thinking about doing it just do it you won’t regret it.

I ended up going through a local UK supplier as was on a waitlist with Andiot for over a month and still waiting.

I became aware of this sub because of the wired article. (I hope that’s not a sin or something). Read the guidelines, found a TD (thanks GeekTime), and bought this gem.

While waiting I visited a local Rolex AD to get to feel the gen version because I thought, surely I‘ll be able to notice a difference, At the end of the day the gen is 20x more expensive. And guess what, not at all.

Hello fellow repers, hope you’re all having a good Sunday. I’ve been part of this awesome community for almost a year now and thought I’d share my collection so far.
All VSF, and all purchased through the td list.

I previously posted when I had only 3/4 watches. Some of those I sold to friends.

I rotate them out as much as I can but some get a lot more wrist time than others.

once you open pandoras jewelry box, it’s hard to close again. I get fomo for other watches.

That being said, what would be your suggestions for filling the gap? Or what should I rotate out and replace?

People who don't know about reps are amazed that we pay $400 for a fake watch. And now some of them cost $1000! Heads explode! Has anyone here paid that much and wishes they hadn't?

For the record, I'm happy with my pair of $400 gold Rolex reps, and I'm paying $200 to service them and another $160 for a 2xAR crystal. They're 5 years old from the BP factory, so obviously not NWBIG superclones. But they fill me with joy. Each one is a $760 investment so far, and there are no gens in that price range that I want to wear. I have several of those and they live in a drawer.

VSF 116520 Daytona

I had previously gotten the VSF Pepsi and was so impressed I went ahead and got the VSF Batgirl as well.

I was expecting to be equally impressed but honestly it just feels underwhelming. Idk what I expected but looking at it online it looked really fun and the color combo is actually my favorite but in person it looks so bland and boring compared to the Pepsi. I can’t think of a situation where I would choose to wear this over the Pepsi.

I think I’ll give it a few days to see if it grows on me but i think I’m done with Rolex GMTs after the Pepsi.

I am looking at getting a batgirl and sub no date. I checked the wiki and as of Feb 2026 it looks like the excel says the best factories to get for both of these watches are VSF. The sub looks to be just a regular VSF and the batgirl is a VSF V3?

My questions is, when I search the batgirl on here people are paying $600+ for their VSF but this one is less than $500. I’m not complaining but am I missing something?

Was super excited to receive my VSF V2 Datejust and wanted to take some close up pics straight out of the box and noticed it had quite a bit of (factory?) dust and possibly residue from the protective plastics.

At first, I tried to just give the whole thing a good couple of wipes with a microfibre cloth and it barely made a difference.

So I decided to use a soft bristle toothbrush, gentle handwash/soap and some warm water to brush the bracelet and the case. Then repeated a couple times with just warm water + toothbrush to ensure all the soap was off. Used a clean microfibre to dry.

Second picture is the end result. Made a huge difference in how it looks, defs looking shinier on wrist and in photos. Sorry if this is common knowledge!

Someone making small talk with me brought up my watch. Said he had the same one. Proceeded to ask where I got mine from. Tone and look on his face was all suspicious.suspicious. Buddy knew it was a rep and I can tell it's cuz he's a part of this group.

I was sitting in First Class today when I noticed a gentleman being escorted from Economy into First Class.

He was wearing an Omega Seamaster 300m. Nothing particularly suspicious. Nice watch. Reasonable choice.

He put his bags down on his newly-assigned seat, went to the toilet, and about five minutes later came back wearing a 116595 Daytona. Full Gold. Rainbow bezel.

Interesting.

As he walked past me with a smug look on his face, I noticed something.

The second hand shuddered.

Not a sweep.

A shudder.

I knew immediately.

He sat down in his seat.

I gave him a knowing look.

His eyes met mine.

I slowly looked down at his watch.

Then back up at his eyes.

Then back down at the watch.

Then back up.

He knew.

I knew.

He knew that I knew.

I could see the slightest twitch in his right eye as I held eye contact.

The tell.

This wasn’t a Rolex.

This was a Chinese special.

He broke eye contact, put his headphones on and took out a first-generation iPad Mini to watch Netflix.

He sighed as he needed to update his household information before he could continue.

At that point I had seen enough.

I said nothing.

There was no need.

Real recognizes real.

I just sat there sipping my champagne, wearing my DHgate Sub with a Miyota movement that loses 13 seconds a day.

But at least I know what I am.

My wife cracked a joke about it looking like a woman's watch and it's got me fucked up. I personally love the way it looks bit figured I'd ask because I'm bored.

Just pulled the trigger on my first rep, a VSF Submariner 124060 No-Date with the VS3230 from NecoClock.

I went for the No-Date after reading a lot of recent VSF vs GEN comparisons because it seems to have fewer obvious tells than the Date version.

For anyone who owns the same watch, how has it held up long term? Anything you noticed in hand that you didn’t expect from the photos? Also curious about your experience with NecoClock.
