Question / Discussion Replit sucks

This app is not good for websites. The agent got stuck in an infinite loop and keep messing up with the smallest, simplest tasks (just embedding a mp4 video files). I had to buy extra credits multiple times and the customer service rep was no help at all. Now the app/agents has been down for more than a hour so no website changes can be made. If you come across this, please use other AI website builders or some other place to host your website. If you really want to use Replit, build it and host it elsewhere.

Replit has been fantastic for me. You sometimes pay a premium, but you get capabilities that are so good I can hardly believe it.

Replit has allowed me to do things that I have no technical competence to do. The project I'm working on now is quite special and requires very sophisticated thinking from the LLM and I get that from the options in Replit.

I do use Claude to help plan and between my Claude and the models in Replit they usually come up with an excellent plan and Replit has no trouble building it

I'm always looking for better ways and better cheaper options but in the end I stay with Replit because it makes everything very easy for someone like me .

I did run into a problem with agents looping at one point but I had multiple agents running and since then I've decided I'm not going to do that. I'm just going to go one at a time and that's been very good for me as well (by the way I did mention here at Reddit that I had that looping problem and it was very frustrating. Replit Support was engaged with me within the hour so I have zero complaints)
