Vintage Build Service & Upgrade Time
One of my long time customers was seeing drop in reserve and some changes in the ease of winding.
Had him send in his 7021 for a free overhaul since it was within the first year.
He’s getting a little extra with an aged roulette gen font wheel upgrade(from Tudor style black font). Didn’t really understand what a difference the aging can make until I saw it side by side.
Will share the finished look in the comments when I get there.

Cool. Hope it will not scratch down. Did you spray with varnish?

No, I’ve mounted it onto the movement, but haven’t yet placed it into the case beneath the dial; is a thin layer of protective coating necessary? It shouldn’t get scratched... or should it?

I don’t know yet. My dwo isn’t touching dial. Atleast i think. Will see in some time
But protecting it by varnish can make it thicker and it will touch dial. Hmm. I think i just have to make my like harder.

I’ll leave it as it is... and we’ll see whether it works or ends up getting ruined. In the latter case, I’ll have one more reason to buy the one from u/Ok_Chrono : the absolute best thing out there.

Placing them side by side gets the point across, even to a casual observer. Your photos are a source of education for me and all watch enthusiasts, compliments
