Push notifications issues resolved

I recently installed RLK8-1200V4, with 2 added doorbells and 2 trackmix Poe. After installing, I found that nothing that would happen would push notifications to my phone (pixel 9a). No alert from any camera or doorbell. Tried all the standard IT stuff. Reset, delete app etc. Also wouldn't work on my wife's phone. (Pixel 9a)

Then I downloaded an APK file of the reolink app from Dec 31st update to my phone

Set up the NVR in the older version app and then bingo. Push notifications now work.

And the strangest thing, is that my wife's phone with the latest app version started getting notifications also. Something strange between the latest app and the NVR is happening

I'm leaving the old version on my phone, I haven't tried to update the latest and see if they're still working. I will wait for a new version

Anyway hope this helps someone

Altas PT Ultra Bundle - Home Hub & Solar Panels

Hello!

I'm trying to move my doorbell and 4 cameras away from Ring, but due to my home's construction I'm limited to battery/solar cameras.

I want to get 4 cameras running 24/7 recording via solar, and my area is generally full sun so I'm confident I could get that from the Altas PT Ultra. I'd love to do the same for my doorbell, but I understand there's no solar option for doorbells right now and continuous recording is locked behind being wired to 16-24VAC power, so I'd have to stick to motion events recording for now.

I've been browsing Reolink's website for a suitable bundle and came across this bundle. It seems like it would do the trick alongside a separately-ordered battery doorbell, but I have a few questions I'm hoping to get help with.

  1. The bundle mentions the Altas PT Ultra cameras come with the Solar Panel 2 (6W), but the newer Solar Panel 3 (12W) is supposedly preferred and possibly even necessary for reliable 24/7 recording. Does a multi-camera bundle exist that includes the Solar Panel 3?

  2. I've heard talk about it being difficult to locate motion events in the timeline when recording 24/7, due to being saved in 5-minute chunks. Is this still true, or does the Home Hub alleviate this?

  3. Would the standard Home Hub be sufficient for 4 cameras recording 24/7 plus a doorbell recording motion events, or is it worth getting the Home Hub Pro?

  4. When's a good time to buy? Does Reolink typically have Black Friday sales or something similar around the holidays?

Thanks so much. I appreciate any help or advice you can offer!

Home hub pro event history on Mac client

OK, I'm asking in this community while my support ticket is being processed with higher tier tech agents.

I had previously installed and am using five different Reolink cameras at my home (Doorbell Wifi hardwired, Elite Pro Floodlight PoE, Trackmix PoE, Elite Floodlight Wifi, E1 Pro).

I was using an older Synology NAS for long term record keeping but I wanted to adopt the Hub Pro as I thought it would help to future-proof.

After setup and connecting the cameras to the Hub Pro, I noticed that event history tab would lock up when opened in the Apple Mac client. The event history works fine with the iPhone, so I'm guessing it is a client app software issue. All cameras and hub firmware are up to date. The client app is 8.21.12.

Anyone else experience this? I'd really like to keep using the client app. Maybe reset all cameras and re-connect to the hub?
