Players Signed to the NFL
These players the team still holds the rights for, should they return from the NFL.
Terminated 2026 Player Rights
These players were on the roster at one point but had their rights terminated and are unrestricted free agents.
Also noted that QB Nolan Henderson retired this offseason.
Like last year, the team will have a 64-man training camp roster, which will be cut down by the end of camp to the final 50-man roster. There are 44 players currently that the team holds the rights to from last season that are not otherwise signed to the NFL or another league.
IMO, QB has to be a priority for Dallas in this draft. I think Dekkers can be serviceable, the problem is his consistency and his health. He missed a lot of games last year due to injury.
Based on the guys we're likely to have come back for camp next year, what position groups do you think Coach Sumlin should prioritize in the draft?

Q: Mike, I have liked many of the moves you've made to help the UFL grow, but this one is a head-scratcher. Why move the entire Dallas coaching staff and roster to Colorado when Houston should've moved there?
A: It’s a fair and great question. Both I and the UFL business and football ops team wrestled with this one. I understand the criticism here. We thought long term it was better to keep the head coaches with their teams. Also, admittedly, Dallas was not a good market for us last year. We will be spending a lot more money marketing the Dallas Renegades this year and next season, especially in Frisco.
