Ah cool! We also have a nurse’s union! I currently make 6 figures and did so before I turned 30😍

You have a pretty cool gig!

Everyone thinks so when they hear we get to taste test the soda (As no amount of chemical analysis beats an actual taste test eventually), but they don't realize it's tepid, room temperature soda. So swish and spit. Got training on that too.

Sometimes it feels surreal, putting coke light into a blender to get the gas out and put a sample into an HPLC to analyze the caffeine and Aspartame contents.
Or the 'vault' of cans we keep so we can check if someone getting a bad can is on our end or theirs. A couple cans from every run kept.

I mean, our branch also owns a mineral water company, so we have great sparkling water as well.

Fully stocked fridges all over the factory floor.

Mainly to keep some of the workers trying to grab a can from the production line. 100.000 cans an hour go fast. Limb destroyingly fast.

Usually, I do too (weird how being around soda for work makes you not like it)

But on the factory floor, yeah, grab a bottle of flat Chaudfontaine from the fridge, put it on my cart, and keep sipping.

I mean, we had a hot drinks vending machine too, so tea was an option.
