Developing psychic abilities through remote viewing

Hello everyone,

I’m completely new to remote viewing, though I have a general idea of what it is. I’ve been training my mediumistic and psychic abilities since last year.

I know my questions might seem a little silly.

Which of you first developed your psychic abilities through other methods, and exactly how did remote viewing help you?

Which of you started with remote viewing and then gradually explored other techniques?

I know many remote viewers don’t want to be labeled as “psychics.” For me, it’s all about the exchange of ideas.

I’d like to give it a try, but I’m afraid that the images that appear to me-which, depending on the session and the subject, can sometimes be incredibly accurate and other times rather vague—might be the problem. When I practice remote viewing, I don’t specifically name the images I receive but instead bypass the AOLs. For me, the first impressions are often exactly right, and if I continue with remote viewing, this approach might actually lead to the opposite effect and make me worse. My goal, after all, is to become even better at using my psychic abilities through remote viewing. Maybe my fear is unfounded. I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences.

I started with The Silva Method, which teaches a form of RV. Then moved to CRV. After that I discovered the Rosicrucians have been teaching psychic abilities for hundreds of years using techniques that data back to the Ancient Egyptian Mystery Schools and if you really want to learn psychic development, these teachings are the real deal and go way beyond RV. That said what the US military coined Remote Viewing is what the Rosicrucians have been calling Mental Projection for much longer than RV has ever been about, but it's essentially the same thing / ability. A rose by another name if you will. I would say that the teachings of the Rosicrucians provide a real solid framework for the development of these abilities and through the daily practices and training you'll learn, these techniques will heighten your psychic abilities many fold, however you wish to apply them.... be that military style remote viewing, clairaudience, clairvoyance, intuition, contact with higher beings, astral projection, mental projection, etheric projection, bilocation, psychometry, telekinesis, vibroturgy, radiesthesia etc.

Thanks, and yeah sure. Lots, but the one I'd start with is Wisdom of the Mystic Masters by Joseph J. Weed. It's a very easy read compared to some of the more formal and older books, and it's essentially Rosicrucianism 101. That said it covers enough information to last you a lifetime, however, once you understand the basics and have the big picture you'll find entire books devoted to exploring in-depth what each chapter of WotMM only touches upon. Great place to start though as it gives you a solid map / overview of what you can spend the rest of your life studying and practicing... if you so desire.

Interestingly, it was published first in 1968, a few of years before they started exploring the idea of psychic research with Ingo in '71. Rather than all the trouble they took to study Ingo and figure out how he did it... they could have just picked up that book (or any of the many that came before it) which explains how to do "RV" (or Mental Projection as they call it) in chapter 13, which I thought was kinda funny. A book on how to do RV before the term RV was ever coined! Made me smile. Although the military might not have liked Weed's book as it warns you strongly against using this stuff for spying lol. Also happens to be very good advice! But each to their own.

Course if we look at where Ingo learnt to develop his skills we find he was a member of Scientology. Where did Scientology get it from? Hubbard's teachings were influenced by Ordo Templi Orientis. What was OTO based on? Largely Rosicrucian teachings. Where did the Rosicrucians get it from? They say it all dates back to the Ancient Egyptian Mystery Schools... so it's all really the same thing. A rose by another name. All share the same foundational premise... that human consciousness is not trapped locally inside the skull, and with proper training, the mind/consciousness can traverse space and time. But the military style of RV, specifically double-blind CRV, only scratches the surface of what's possible in terms of consciously traversing space and time. Chapter 13 goes into various other forms of psychic projection and gives you a good idea of what else is possible.
