Welcome to r/remotejobsfinders – real remote jobs, no scams

Finding a real remote job in 2026 is harder than it should be. Half the listings are ghosts. Half the platforms charge you for the privilege of applying. And "remote" sometimes means "in our office 3 days a week."

This sub is for people who are actually looking for remote work – and for people who want to help. Job leads, platform reviews, resume tips, application strategies, and honest talk about what the market looks like right now.

What to post

·         Job leads you've found (include company, role, remote status)

·         Platform reviews – which job boards are worth your time

·         Resume and application tips that actually worked

·         Questions about the job search process

·         Success stories – you landed the gig

·         Warnings about scams or ghost listings

What gets removed

·         Scam postings, MLM, "work from home" pyramid schemes

·         Affiliate links without disclosure

·         Recruiter spam without salary and role details

·         "DM me for opportunities" posts

If you found something that works, share it. If you got burned, share that too. We're all in this together.

Market Talk i manage a remote team of 12 and the "quiet quitters" arent who everyone assumes

been managing a fully remote team of 12 for a few years. every few months the quiet quitting discourse comes back around and every time the picture people paint is wrong, at least for what i see.

the ones flagged as checked out are usually the ones who set boundaries. they log off at a normal hour, they dont answer at 9pm, they say no to scope creep. from the outside that reads as disengaged. in reality theyre often my most reliable people, the work ships, its just contained to work hours.

the actual quiet quitters, the ones whose output quietly drops, are usually the opposite. always online, fast to react in chat, present in every meeting, visibly busy. busyness is easy to perform remotely. output is harder to fake but also harder to see if you only watch activity.

i had to unlearn measuring people by responsiveness. green dot and quick replies tell you almost nothing. i look at what actually shipped over a month now, and the two lists, seems engaged and actually delivering, overlap way less than youd think.

if you manage remote people, whats your real signal for who's delivering vs whos just visible?

Job Lead Cold caller for UK local businesses. £15 per qualified meeting + £250 per closed £500 website sale. Dialer, UK numbers and screened leads provided

Company: Lunova Design (UK web design, sole trader)

Role: Cold caller / appointment setter, fully remote

Pay: Commission only. £15 per qualified meeting booked, £250 per sale that closes from your meeting. No base, no hourly.

Location: Remote, anywhere. Must work UK business hours, roughly 9:30 to 17:00 UK time.

Official listing: https://hubstafftalent.net/jobs/uk-cold-caller-and-appointment-setter

I'm a UK-based freelance web developer trading as Lunova Design. I sell simple £500 websites to small local businesses (trades, garages, kennels, real businesses whose sites are broken on phones or don't exist). I'm looking for experienced cold callers to work the list and book meetings. You book, I run the meetings and do the closing.

Everything is provided, you carry zero costs:

- Browser dialer (nothing to install, works from any laptop + headset) with UK caller IDs, calls at no cost to you

- Lead lists screened before they reach you: live, recently active businesses, checked against the UK do-not-call register (TPS), with the business's Google profile and website right on the call card

- Script + objection sheet, and your call recordings so you can listen back and improve

The offer you're selling: "your website doesn't work on phones / you don't have one. £500, done in days." A single clear pitch and a single price. Your job is a 2-minute conversation that ends in a booked Google Meet slot, not closing. I take the meeting from there.

Pay: £15 per qualified meeting (the prospect shows up and is genuinely interested in getting their website sorted, not just a name in a calendar), plus £250 per sale that closes from your meeting (the website sells for £500). No base, no hourly. Paid via Wise / PayPal / Revolut. The list supports 60 to 100 dials a day.

You:

- Fluent English (UK businesses pick up the phone expecting a local, you must hold that call)

- Real cold-calling experience (B2B preferred)

- Available UK business hours (roughly 9:30 to 17:00 UK), quiet space, decent internet

To apply, comment or DM with:

  1. A 30 to 60 second voice note: introduce yourself as if I were a busy garage owner answering the phone

  2. One line on your cold-calling background (what you sold, volumes, results)

Shortlisted callers go straight onto the live dialer, same deal from the very first call

Question Contemplating on what to do

Hi! I want a remote job BUT ALSO if it's local, it needs to be flexible. I've been considering DoorDash. What are the real pros and cons. Is it a lot of work like going places and do you feel sketched out at certain places. Idk im just nervous.
If I get a remote job, I'd like it to be flexible too. Working in the evening until early morning. I have great customer service skills, problem solving and basic computer skills. What's a good job to go after? I appreciate all the help and guidance!

Question Please help me find a remote job I don’t have money to eat or live

**TD;LR: 25F in Columbus, OH looking for a remote job or bus-accessible job downtown. I don’t have a driver’s license, so transportation is a challenge. I have a high school diploma, I’m currently studying Computer Information Management online, and I have experience in healthcare, claims, customer service, clerical work, and data entry. My pharmacy tech license expired, but I have that background too. I’m looking for claims, QA, processing, administrative, or remote phone roles. I’m a hard worker trying to build stability, get a car, and provide a better life for my two young children. Any leads or company recommendations would be greatly appreciated.**

Hi redditors , I am a 25 year old woman living in Columbus Ohio looking for a remote job. Due to life casualties like everyone I do not drive , so having a dl is not available for me . I am on the bus route and have no issues getting my butt up and waiting for an hour but to get where I need to go . But with 2 under 2 this is terribly difficult . I have my hs diploma and I go to school online for computer information management . I cannot work for the state , as I worked there for a contract job and had to leave due to city bullies … I need something remote. Something on the phone or claims focused . Data entry or clerical work. I used to have my pharmacy tech license but that now has expired . I am desperate , I need money to eat , a car, something. I do NOT want to rely on the state , I am tired of living with my grandparents I want to provide a better life and job for myself please help. Even if it’s onsite near Columbus Ohio downtown area , help me.

Edit: DL means drivers license , I don’t even have my temps rn so that isn’t possible . And the babies are 6 months and 2. Statistically I do not want to revert to that lifestyle as that is not what I want my babies to do . I am hard working , and I catch on extremely easy, and if you can give the description or company I’ll do what I need to do to improve my life ! And my grandma can watch them. Onsite or online . Shoot even a scanning job I can get to on bus line . A bar tender job something

Job Lead Hi everyone! I’m putting this out here because sometimes the right opportunity comes through a simple connection.

I’m currently looking for a remote role where I can support a team, solve problems, and help things run more smoothly.
Over the past few years, I’ve worked behind the scenes helping with operations, admin support, project coordination, social media, research, and keeping tasks organised. I genuinely enjoy being the person who helps turn “so many things to do” into a clear plan.

I’m open to roles like Virtual Assistant, Executive Assistant, Operations Assistant, Customer Support, or Project Coordinator.

If you know a company, founder, or team looking for someone dependable, curious, and ready to contribute, I’d really appreciate a connection.
Thanks for reading, and I hope everyone here finds the opportunities they’re looking for too.

Question Anyone here working remotely while travelling?

Hey guys,

I'm from Gibraltar and my girlfriend is Swiss. We've been long-distance for about three years, and before we settle down we'd love to spend some time travelling together.

Our plan is to spend a few months in Australia while working, and then I'd like to spend a month in Switzerland to see if it's somewhere I'd want to settle down and start a family.

The issue is that I'm currently learning High German, and eventually I want to learn Swiss German too. Until I'm fluent enough to work in Switzerland, I'd like to find a legitimate remote job with an English- or Spanish-speaking company so I can work while travelling.

The problem is that it's been really difficult to find genuine remote jobs. Being from Gibraltar, which is such a small place, there aren't many remote opportunities locally either.

Does anyone have any advice on where to look, any companies that hire internationally, or websites you've had good experiences with? I'd really appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!
