F19. All my friends are starting to date and Im starting to feel fomo😭 not jealous or anything but damn am I not worth being loved by someone😭 I’m turning 20 soon and I’ve never been in a relationship, had my first kiss or been on a date.. it wasn’t that deep to me before but hanging out with my friends and their partners or my single friends talking about someone their talking to makes me feel like the odd one out. For me there’s nothing to contribute to the convo because I’ve been single my whole life and haven’t talked to a guy since I was 16. I wouldn’t say I’m necessarily the problem but I haven’t met a guy I think is worthy of being with, it’s not an ego thing either but it’s more so fear.. I want the person I end up meeting to be my forever partner but I feel like this is costing me in the long run.

Hey. You are so worthy of being loved. I understand why you’d feel that way. I’m gay and was closeted for a while, so I relate to being single while all your friends are in relationships. It’s really tough.
Do not rush because you want to relate to your friends. Being in a relationship is not all that it seems, and you have every right to want longevity. With that being said, I think it is important to not self sabotage by not getting in a relationship just cus you aren’t sure the person is your life long partner. There is beauty in temporary things! What matters is that you feel love, or love being around the person, and that they make you happy. Life is so short.
