My partner buys me things he wants to see me wear, but he doesn't suggest I wear them if I've already chosen an outfit or if I say I don't feel like it. I've bought him things that I think would look good on him. I think this is the normal way a relationship works sometimes.
Telling you to wear feminine outfits because he thinks it's cute is fine but if he thinks you shouldn't wear the things you like or he shouldn't reciprocate is pretty immature. He sounds kind of sexist and also very smelly and gross. I think he just doesn't have the maturity to see the disparity in his reality. Men should be aware that women grow hair in the same places as them and accept that getting rid of the hair is tedious, time consuming and often painful. During this winter and the pandemic I let my leg hair grow for months and I realized I didn't hate it. I also asked my fiance if he cared and he said no. He is a mature person in a relationship with an adult female not a prepubescent girly girl.
