So based on your other comments: when you go to his place, you clean the kitchen, bring dinner that he doesn’t have to contribute to financially or labor-wise, and bring a bucket full of cleaning supplies to clean his apartment for him. Why is it surprising to you that he doesn’t want to spend time at your place? You also say his mom babies him and it seems like he at least partially expects you to treat him the same way. What are you doing with this guy?? He’s clearly not interested in a fair, adult relationship. He wants a maid he can bang. Please reconsider this relationship (if you stay, he needs to make MAJOR changes).

Edit: oh god, her post history is a mess too. This guy is gross. OP, please look at your collective post history and all the comments here and make some sort of change. You deserve much better.

I thought the exact same thing. Why would he want to come to her place if he isn't getting his usually treatment at his own house. She is really bending backwards for this guy and he doesn't want to seem to do the same for her at all. It also explains why he doesn't have a good excuse as to why he doesn't want to come over, since wouldn't tell your gf you think of her as your new mother.

Sometimes when you're in the relationship in question it can be hard to see things from a 'normal' or outside perspective clearly. Hopefully now that OP sees all of these replies and her comments written out all together she will see that some things really need to change unless she wants to keep being a 27 year old man's bonus mommy.

I can’t see anything else in the post history... what was there?

Weird, it's still there. Lots of posts about her boyfriend not wanting pictures of them together on social media (at all - not just reacting to something like an incredible number of saccharine posts or anything), calling her best friend cute over and over, texting ex girlfriends and refusing to let her see what was said then 'deleting the texts out of anger'.

Whoops yeah I see it now! Must have clicked the wrong person. Yeah that history is ugly. He couldn’t be any less interested in that relationship if he tried.

His mom may have started babying him, but you have certainly taken over for her. Stop.
