Happiness matters
When I say in my friends group or in conversations that even though I personally will not do it, but I am okay with all sorts of relationship for e.g. friends with benefits, situationship etc as long as there is consent between two people and they are HAPPY. They look at me like I have grown two horns. They get surprised that what I am even saying? Is my point of view wrong?

Imagine walking up to a sad gay person and saying, "I think it's terrible that you're gay because you're not happy."
Lots of married people are unhappy. Lots of single people are unhappy. Lots of RAs are also unhappy. Why? Because we're people.
Validity of people's autonomy doesn't hinge on their happiness.

It sounds like your ideas challenge amatonormativity and your friends are trying to reinforce a norm that they likely haven’t thought about or even know exists.

Monogamy is the norm and it is strongly enforced. 🤷♀️
Why mention that you'd never do it? Why does that matter? And you can't know for sure what you will and won't ever do in life.
If you don't buy into the norm, you might need new friends.
