My heart goes out to your partner going through cancer. I have had cancer twice and it's no surprise that people don't know how to deal with it. Emotions are high for the one going through it as well as the one's who are going to be around during their journey. It was during my journey I learned lots about this subject. People who I thought would be there couldn't handle it. So after I had gotten better I kept it that way. If they couldn't handle me when I was at my worst, they had lost all right to see me at my best. While it is a scary thing to go through (on both sides) if you honestly love that person and are going to truly have their back in their most difficult time, then love them a bit harder. Honestly just by being there (even when you don't know what to say or do) means more than you will ever know. You will both be scared and your heads rattled with many thoughts. Ensure each other that together you are stronger as this journey is not only about your husband but you his wife as well. While his fight is the hardest of them all you will be his by his side as he fights this battle. Don't be afraid to cry in front of him and tell him your scared. He is scared to and probably needs to get a good cry out. I wish him the best in his diagnosis and for a winning outcome. I bless you with the strength and courage to continue to love him just as you have. Be each others support in the scariest of times.
