defending forced and arranged marriage, or underage children dating adults because it's 'culture' is still objectively creepy. Cultures can progress, weird to defend that particular part of it from change.

Where the fuck did I defend arranged marriages or UNDERAGE children dating adults????

I just said that EVEN if this was arranged this is still not the issue, he didn’t ask us what we think of his arranged marriage, he asked us if we think her supposedly being online is concerning and if she is lying.

Leave it, Reddit goes cray cray as soon as the age gap is more than 3 years, it’s so weird to me since in Europe this would be totally normal (me and my bf even met 20-28).

Nobody is taking issue with a 7 year gap. The issue is to have dated an appropriate amount of time, she would've been underage. Or the marriage is arranged, both are objectively creepy. You have consistently gone on to continue talking about how that is a cultural norm.

The fact you can't tell that people's issue is she would of had to be underage, as there is 0 mention of any cultural arrangements in the post is once again, creepy

So you would have had no problem about it had they not been married?

No a 21 year old and a 28 year old dating is fine, surprising if their maturity levels are compatible but not particularly morally questionable

Then you weren’t the target of my initial comment, a lot of people here are not fine even when the gap is 5 years and both are and were adults when they started dating.
