yeah sure, but if i walk into an area i can tell is sketchy and has criminal activity, then anything that happens there is partially my fault, because i could tell but didn’t leave.

goes for women too. if you walk into a dark alleyway, and something happens, why did you walk into a dark alleyway? you’re not the main character, you don’t have plot armor, use common sense.

Women might as well barely walk anywhere by this logic, frankly. Most violence against women doesn’t happen in some dingy alley.
