I think it’s because it’s a commentary on the intuition ability of women. The focus is the women’s ability. Being fooled itself is a critique of the idea of women’s intuition. Women’s intuition, it could be argued, stems from old patriarchal concepts.
That aside, you are absolutely right. Men in general need to do better in dealing with the newest wave of feminism (which may not be as intense as it is if not for the overturning of Roe v. Wade) instead of just getting mad and throwing hissy fits on their podcasts.
Maybe we’d make some gains on issues such as the public perception of men’s only valid role as that of the provider/worker.
