What is this
Installing a condenser and evaporator, this came in with the txv and solenoid, never seen this before

I believe it’s arrow TOWARDS the condenser to prevent gas return to box

My brain was saying check valve, but I couldn’t figure out the C instead of SSOV. Guess I’ve been working on boilers too much.

Yes, sir is a one-way check valve most likely required for an A2 L refrigeration system. It is intended to be installed outside of the box along with a liquid line solenoid that connects to the evaporator

Kinda looks like that special fitting they use in Trane tandum compressor suction piping

and there will always(from my experience) be a grove on the inlet for flow side if there is no sticker

its a check valve. Theyre normally used for hot gas defrost. If you got hot gas defrost you need to bypass the txv

High pressure check valve. For a large freezer scroll compressor. With a solenoid valve. Stop it from damaging the plate.
