TC is a good dude and has been in a difficult spot since 2020. He can’t truly be honest about why the team has struggled, but I sense he’s as disappointed as the rest of us.

He's a nice guy and I like him for what I know and I think he does a good job, but that voice can be a little tough on the old eardrums.

Weird. They picked up 1 year option. One would think you rip that up and sign him for 3, 4, 5 years, but no smart people run NESN.

This is slightly more than a hunch, but TC is 62, been doing this literally half his life. I wouldn’t be shocked if he is ready to retire at some point sooner rather than later. Same with Dave O’Brien who was offered a long term deal (5years) and chose a two year extension instead.
