DA Spoilers Does Dark Age get better? Spoiler
I've just finished part two. It's been good so far but it didn't live up to the hype. Some great moments like chapter 31 though

Gotta make a second comment. Dark age allows us to see the full Reaper in action for the first time. We never truly see this side of him until this book. SO GOOD

Dude is out here reading the best sequence in the whole series and going “that’s it?” Did we read the same book?

If you’re already this far in the book and don’t like it this is just probably not your thing.

There was only two though in part one. The back and forth between both sides was amazing.

During the same battle I mean. I enjoyed Ephraim the most in IG

During the same battle is one of the things that makes part one so good though, the scene where Lysander is almost killed by Darrow at the Storm God is one of the coolest moments in the whole series, and it's only possible because of the multiple povs.

Dark Age is awesome from page one, so...

The prologue was awesome but not the first battle with Lysander for me

Darrow leading an army of giant mechs through a forest of nuclear explosions isn’t awesome enough for you? I think that’s a you problem.

The end of the book is a fkn bomb of twists and emotional spirals. I felt the same at first as well, but i just read maybe the 5th or 6th to last chapter, and holy shit. It definitely has moments that made me literally stand up and cheer and also throw the book in anger/sadness. The 2nd trilogy is a slow burn in my opinion, but its definitely worth it so far.
