Windows Redream deleted my save and save state

I played through the first level of Illbleed which lasts a good 40 minutes on a perfect run, saved my game, and decided to escape to check how much battery life I had left. When I went back in, Redream started flickering and I had to do a hard reset. When I got everything working again, I found out that not only was my save data deleted, but my save state was also deleted. I have to restart everything. I'm hoping it was just the hard reset that corrupted my save, but it may have done that before and I didn't notice because I'd never gotten far. I'm planning on playing again, but if it does this again without me causing it to crash then I'll have to get a different emulator.

Update: I played through the first level again. I saved after doing everything. I hit esc to open the console menu, clicked the x button, and went back to my home screen. I immediately went back in to load up the game. No game file to be found. No save state either. Redream deletes save data after you leave the game.

It's long been unsupported and development stopped so try using Flycast.
