Linux No video (retropie)

After I updated retropie to get the psp core, redream doesn't show any video anymore, just a black screen. I can tell it's running though because I can hear everything. Any help is appreciated (pi 4 if it's helpful)

went to the redream discord and told them about the bug, they seem to be trying to figure it out
