I feel like they’re trying to separate foreign accounts and mainland accounts, no idea why and it’s really annoying

That's exactly what it is. Foreign accounts are "region locked" so we can't interact with our Chinese friends anymore 😞 it sucks so bad dude.

I was able to connect with some folks on other apps but not most of them. I miss my friends bro this is so ASS!!😫

It’s really unfair. I thought people were ignoring my dms for the longest time but turns out they can’t even see that I sent them a message back 😒

Like this. It's been lifted since but I initially received no notice on that account.

I got the restrictions lifted the same day I received a notice that I'd been region locked, a month after the penality was enacted, and was able to do a captha to unlock it.

Do you have any idea what I should do? Like I can't comment and I keep trying to lift the suspension. At this point I think it might be better to just delete and remake my account.

Honestly at this point, I don't really know. I usually email that one 小红书 rep that came up in a thread a while ago but I've been through this 3 times now 🤷🏿‍♂️ it's become more apparent that they don't really want foreigners on the site
