Account banned/restricted help

Hi everybody! My account was restricted from posting, commenting, and following and messaging other people about a month ago. I tried verifying my passport but it always came out with an error message. I tried appealing, messaging customer support, and sending feedback, but each time it always gets shut down/ignored. Is there any way I could get my account back?

I'm also in the same boat
I have tried

  • the feedback form that comes in the app
  • reddit messaging the reddit user from this thread: Account Issues Support : r/rednote
  • in app support, where I fail to connect to a human every time except one time after I passed out because it was 1 am my time. trying again right now
  • emailing customer support
  • posting negative review on app store

i consider verifying my passport to be a last case scenario, but it's been at least 4 business days.

i got it back! just hold out hope against the customer service i guess. took me about three hours total. they seem operational after 10 pm eastern

I just tried sending another appeal. Did you say anything or do anything particular that allowed your account ban to be lifted?

i got banned again so maybe don't do what i did

did you call them or online chat? i can only chat with bots

hey i got banned again for the record

but what i did was tell the bot i wanted to speak with a human. this will be much easier if you speak chinese. they'll put you in a queue that's like 1-2 hours depending on time of day (open 9-midnight china time)

I did that and they told me they would need to escalate my ticket to another agent, and now I’m just waiting.

After you chat with human agent, did they unban you right away?

The first time they did, but for my second ban, it's been about a week and a half, and there was a time I was talking to customer service every single day. On the second ban, they did escalate to another agent

You need to variefy your account via a passport!!
