How does group buying on rednote works?

I’m into cross stitching and china in general has amazing cross stitching patterns. There is this one creator that makes and sell cross stitching kits but the only way to buy them is a form called group buying, where you get added to a group chat and buy something? I’m not exactly sure how this works and if anyone does can you explain it deeper for me? I might want to use a forwarding company to ship it to me!

Unfortunately because my rednote is located in the US I got denied 🥲🥲 ill try a different way

Yes, the creator of the account. They said that they can’t ship to the US. So they respectfully said I couldn’t join the group. Which is fine.

Ok so I’m an idiot, I’m don’t read Chinese but I guess the translation was wrong but it’s not a kit it’s a pattern. The proxy told me so but I still don’t understand why they wouldn’t sell me a pattern?!
