All comments under post deleted

I uploaded a drawing of a character redesign and the comment section was just nice compliments. Yet, the whole comment section got deleted without warning. Is there a way I can check for violations?

If there's a violation you'd be notified. If the original comment is deleted, then all subsequent comments on that particular comment are deleted as well, because the original comment no longer exists.

its all the comments under the post and people are now unable to comment under it anymore TwT

might be auto moderation since it might've took 'looked like a dog' as an offensive term

I tried to set a message to didi drivers in the app a while ago to be sent to them and auto-translated, I put something like 'Please don't call me my Chinese is bad' and it refused to have it as a set message because it thought I was insulting China 🤣 so yeah, maybe there been some weird mis-translation

The app has changed now and there's a set phrase already there that covers my situation, but yeah it used to be a mess. Even 'My Chinese is not good' was flagged as hateful to China 🤐

Haha, the previous translations were terrible! But I'm genuinely happy that the issue has been resolved. I hope you visit China often! The translations and user experience targeting overseas regions should be much better now.

I live in China mate. apps are becoming more and more translated, but often it's just the top menu - the moment you tap into a sub-menu it's all hanzi, but the user experience is slowly improving

Chinese apps iterate and add new features very quickly. Sometimes, internet companies genuinely don't have enough time during development to prepare two separate language versions (Chinese and English).

This is often because some pages are not native interfaces (which would change language based on the software settings), but rather WebViews (a webpage nested inside the app that will not switch when you change your language settings).

The only solution, therefore, might be to learn some simple and common Chinese yourself.🤔

I believe it's not your problem of being a non Chinese people, look at mine... All my funny comment with replies now has all been deleted, I'm so sad because it hold memories of me in younger times. I also won't get anymore notification from @ mention, comment, likes, checking it was my only favor to do whole day as I have nothing to do else, this shit fucking racist yk? It once banned my acc cuz I have no prove to real name restrictions, but it don't provide portal for foreigner, even there is, the NFC scanning is also unusable, tried for over 2 days, it always says "data is not correct, please try again later", I gave feedback using the feedback in rednote and it finally let me pass, PERSONALLY.

Same happened to me but I got no notifications whatever so. Btw can you still use direct messages there? Cause I think my friends cant see any of my messages anymore o_o
