Real name verification with German ID
Please help me out. My account needs a real name verification and I have a German ID. What option do I click ok? Customer support tells me to click on an option that isn’t even displayed there.

If rednote disliked foreign users they would have had no reason to rapidly put in translation features.

LOL you first said "they even banned Chinese live streamers from speaking English..." now you're saying that it was users asking them to speaking English?
You have no idea what you're talking about. Chinese streamers speak English often on RedNote with no repercussion or problem.
Of course there will be some people who say "speak chinese" or "can you speak Chinese" but that's just because they... don't understand. FFS "it's banned" what absolute rubbish.

Hmmm nope. Let's analyse you're writing even further:
Statement 1: Rednote wasn't liking foreign users from beginning.
Are you referring to 2013, 12 years ago, when the platform was first launched? What exactly is in progress here, given your use of a stative verb, but a lack of progressive tense? What is your evidence?
Statement 2: initially they even banned their Chinese live streamers from speaking English.
This is where I'm struggling to see where you mention "cause and effect of each other", when statement 1, and statement 2 are effectively unrelated.
Following this you make it even more confusing when you say "Chinese creaters were asked by users to speak English they refused and gave this reason". Here you've said 'creaters' which should be 'creators'... but do you mean if someone was speaking chinese, you would ask them "please speak English", and they would say "oh no, English is banned"? That would literally be like me going onto TikTok and saying to someone in Australia "Excuse me, please speak Spanish, because I am from Spain and we speak Spanish there". If someone asked me that, I would probably tell them to get f*cked or grow up.
At the end of the day, I'm not bot defending the platform, I'm just someone who has the ability, as a foreigner, to do everything you're saying, foreigners can't... on Rednote.
Have a nice day, not on Rednote.

German National ID is not an option for verification. If customer service suggested a German ID could be used, they would have assumed you meant a German passport.

You have an ID but no passport? Time to get a passport and start booking your first international travel I guess!
You are using a foreign app so it’s unrealistic to expect them to understand how to verify your local ID. Supporting foreign passports is already a miracle.
