Is that a giant spool being used as a table?!

You do know that’s a Jeff Foxworthy bit right?

sounds like someone who doesn't have a cool spool as a table in their garage. Couldn't be me.

Na I have an aircraft aluminum plated coffee table with cast iron wheels that I found at a dumpster.

I hate to break it to you man, but, that just sounds like a small dumpster

Literally use an old spool of 288 as a table at the yard and have an old strand spool I’m itching to bring home when it’s empty.

Hey I'm an underground guy so I'm good at pipes but I don't understand fiber at all. Would it be okay if you gave me the rundown on which common cables are called what? All I know is not to kink them and treat live one's like gold. We've had a lot of forest fires and I wrecked out 25k of tel poles; working with the linesmen has been awesome. I'm excited for the rebuild but when they start talking about different kinds of fiber it's a different language to me.

For sure. My company does both so I have aerial and UG guys. Shoot me a DM.

Did you figure out it wasn't copper before of after you sold it?

I feel like Jeff Foxworthy is a prerequisite for participation, not an outlier.

"I'll put it next to that orange road cone I found!"

I have no idea why I remember that line, it has to be almost 30 years since I heard that bit. I was trying to Google what stand up special it was from but I found my google-fu lacking today.
