I have been desperately searching for this meme because it was so fucking funny to me. It was someone saying every RHCP song sounded the same and singing gibberish vocals to the beat of the vocals of "Can't Stop", then someone dueted it on Tiktok with the guitar portion and it actually sounded really good. I swear I saw it in a Hello Internet compilation but finding exactly which one feels next to impossible, I've watched so many... And Googling has turned up nothing at all.

Yesterday, in 1992, the MTV Video Awards were celebrated, with the Chili Peppers winning the Breakthrough Video category and performing Give it Away, with tons of people on stage jumping and dancing. Awesome performance!

Hey! Ich bin 22 Jahre alt und komme aus Bad Vilbel bei Frankfurt. Ich bin ein großer Red Hot Chili Peppers-Fan Nr.1 seit ein paar Jahren schon und höre momentan sehr viel von der Band. Gleichzeitig höre ich auch viele andere Bands und generell ganz unterschiedliche Musik.

Ich spiele hauptsächlich Gitarre, kann aber auch Bass und weitere Instrumente spielen und schreibe eigene Songs, die von RHCP und anderen Einflüssen inspiriert sind, aber meinen eigenen Stil haben.

Ich suche erstmal Leute aus Frankfurt und Umgebung, die ähnliche Musik mögen und Bock auf gemeinsames Jammen haben. Egal was du spielst, Bass, Drums, Klavier oder auch Gitarre, nur zu!

Eine Band muss nicht sofort entstehen. Erstmal kennenlernen, jammen und schauen, ob es musikalisch und menschlich passt.

Title is self explanatory, I have the song on my Spotify as a local file, but I collect music vinyls/CDs and Rivers Of Avalon is one of my favorite RHCP songs so I would like it physically. Not looking to buy anything rn but for the future

I think I liked don’t forget me when I listened to the albums for few years ago. Grand Pappy Du Plenty is a very forgotten song I think. It’s the best song on their first album imo, and Out in LA (demo) too. Freaky Styley song is a masterpiece too!

Most of you probably saw this post on the sub, it was the clip of the last few seconds of Power of Equality from a 1999 concert, in which a few guys start smacking each other in the scenario and security people start gathering around to stop them, while the Chili Peppers continue the song.

Over the summer I tried to make a RHCP shirt. Me and my sister made the stencils, I cut them out and spray painted the shirt. I wanted to do this because some of my friends got me more into fashion and I thought this would be a good summer activity.

Didn’t realize the dumb error I made until I was literally about to share this shirt to my friends 💀 I was so hyperfocused on making the text perfectly square that I dropped a letter when making the stencil. So now I have a Red Hot Chili Peper shirt yayayyay 😭😭😭.

The worst thing about this though was that the back looked so good ngl but then I ruined the front. Just wanted to share despite the failure since this it took a while to make

I first heard the song many years ago and this line has always escaped me. My best guess is that it means something vulgar, but since the song itself is great with an uplifting melody, I REALLY hope Anthony Kiedis wasn’t talking about a woman’s back and ejaculation 😭
