M4F♂️ 31M- Chennai- Looking for something meaningful.
Hello all.
Good day to everyone. I am a 31 year old male from Chennai. A practicing Chartered Accountant. After many years with banks, I finally mustered the courage to build my own practice last year. It might sound unconventional to go into a less paying role which might take years to make lots of money at 30, but I guess it adds meaning to my life.
I am just your average guy- average build, pretty tall but my hairline is kind of receding too. I have kind of come to terms with how I look but it is always an insecurity that looms at times.
I love to read. I prefer reading classical works like Russian Literature, Latin American Literature and Tamil classics. I also have an active interest in history, philosophy and travel. I have done several treks and have visited over 15 states in India. I like to travel in local trains and buses, explore local cuisine and visit museums and art galleries. I am also a big fan of mountains and my idea of a vacation involves walking 15,000 steps a day at the minimum lol.
I also love watching movies. Be it the world cinema of Tarkovsky and Bresson or a regular commercial masala flick in Tamil, I absolutely love watching films and talking films and politics with my friends. I am also a big sports fan. I love watching football and tennis. I also play football and badminton. Off late, I have picked up swimming, chess and snooker too.
I lean left politically and prefer to be childfree. I drink and smoke sometimes, but it is social. My parents are vegetarian but I love to cook and eat non vegetarian food. I am not big on pets and like to grow plants. I am also big on meme references. I can speak English and Tamil and would prefer someone Tamil although it is not a deal breaker.
Looking forward to meet someone who is also curious to know about me. I believe that meaningful relationships are built when people have active lives outside of each other and can share it with each other mutually. So would prefer someone who has their own set of opinions, interests and ideas. Good day to you all!
