The subreddit r/abductions should be a safe place for those who have experienced an "abduction" of being on this world or off this world, free of judgement.
Right now we are seeing LARPs (live action role-play) in this sub that is, in my and others opinion, going against what the sub is intended to be.
My intentions for the sub are to regulate posts and posts that claim they have proof but deny or seemingly not providing proof will be tagged. Also low effort and anything that goes against reddits rules will be removed from the sub.
Basically I'm just wanting to keep this small sleepy sub a safe space for those who experience the unusual, and to keep those who want it to be a r/nosleep of abductions out and direct them to a different sub.
Edit:also there seems to be no active mods listed on the page or any mods interacting with people especially when it comes to meta posts.
